Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials to and from sites, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of heavy equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of construction site protocols and the ability to operate various types of heavy machinery.
Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, sand, and asphalt to construction sites.
- Ensure all loads are secured and comply with safety regulations during transportation.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to coordinate material delivery schedules.
- Maintain a clean and organized truck environment.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to minimize risks.
Experience
- Proven experience in dump truck operation is preferred, with specific skills in horizontal drilling, tanker operation, grader operation, bulldozing, building, paving, and water truck operation being advantageous.
- Familiarity with construction site operations and safety standards is essential.
- A valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required for this position.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are necessary for success in this role.
