Are you an experienced NP looking for a flexible part-time opportunity , focused on dermatology? We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Dermatology Nurse Practitioner to join our dedicated healthcare team and provide high quality dermatological care to patients in skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities across Northern New Jersey . This position is ideal for a provider looking to work one to two days a week or someone who wants or supplement their income and enjoy a flexible schedule that they control. Duties
- Conduct thorough skin assessments, including physical examinations and medical history reviews, to diagnose dermatological conditions accurately.
- Evaluate and treat a wide range of skin disorders commonly seen in the skilled nursing population.
- Perform minor procedures including biopsies and cryotherapy while maintaining sterile techniques and patient safety protocols.
- Accurately document all patient interactions meticulously within electronic health record (EHR) systems , ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Educate patients and staff on skincare routines, treatment options, and post-procedure care to promote ongoing skin health and satisfaction.
- Collaborate closely with facility staff and healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- Current Nurse Practitioner license with an active New Jersey Nurse Practitioner license, required.
- Dermatology experience is strongly preferred.
- Complete documentation accurately and in a timely fashion.
- Experience performing dermatological procedures such as biopsies and cryotherapy.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology related to skin health, and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
- Excellent communication skills.

Pay: $150.00 - $160.00 per hour
