Job Overview:
Our client in Springfield, MA is in need of a skilled CNC Lathe Machinist with expertise in 5-Axis machining. This individual will be tasked with setting up, operating, and fine-tuning CNC machines to produce top-notch parts with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and run CNC lathe machines (3, 4, and 5-Axis) based on blueprint specifications.
Adjust machinery and troubleshoot controllers, machines, and processes.
Select proper tools and adjust feeds and speeds to meet production needs.
Use precision hand tools to inspect machined parts for quality assurance.
Work independently and efficiently, lifting up to 70 lbs. when necessary.
Keep work area clean and organized, including tools, machinery, and equipment.
Monitor tool inventory and reorder as needed.
