Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Mechanic to join our service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, diagnostics, and maintenance, with the ability to work efficiently on a variety of vehicle makes and models. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics using advanced tools and schematics to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, and fluid replacements.
- Repair and replace critical vehicle components including transmissions, powertrain parts, suspension systems, shocks & struts, brakes, and alignments.
- Diagnose and repair automotive electrical systems, including electronic modules.
- Repair gas and/or diesel engines
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive repair tools safely and effectively.
- Interpret technical manuals and schematics to facilitate precise repairs.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs performed for warranty purposes and customer communication.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Keep a clean and orginized work space
Skills
- Proven dealership or automotive repair experience with a strong understanding of automotive electrical systems and diagnostics.
- Expertise in gas engine repair, powertrain systems, transmissions, suspension, alignment, shocks & struts, brake repair, and tire service.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment efficiently.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to read schematics and technical manuals accurately.
- Customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance needs.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
