American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience, including demonstrated proficiency in CTA, Calcium scores, and structural CTs, for a day-shift contract position in California.

CT Scan department in an outpatient/ambulatory care setting
-
Procedures include CTA, Calcium scoring, and structural CTs — experience with all three is required
-
Day shifts, 5x8 hours, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
-
Weekend shifts may be required as needed

Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience required

Current BLS certification required
-
ARRT(R) or ARRT(CT) certification required

Active CA Radiation license required (license required if applicable)

Active CA Fluoroscopy license required (license required if applicable)

Demonstrated experience with CTA, Calcium scores, and structural CTs is required

Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates

Two supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration

Copies of all certifications required for consideration

Performs routine and specialized CT procedures to produce diagnostic-quality images for physicians and other healthcare providers

Works independently, exercising sound judgment and developed clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures in a timely manner

Responsible for competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication with patients, families, and care teams

May assist with orienting other staff to the department

Adheres to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure patient privacy and safety

Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have been away for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler

Only one holiday RTO request will be approved during the contract
