Primary responsibilities:
- Supports and represent the Operation Manager’s intent, priority, and direction
- Plans, prepares, issues and controls master production schedules
- Demonstrates ownership, control, and awareness of the production schedule
- Demonstrates a proactive sense of urgency to maintain a near-real time production schedule at the discrete task level
- Maintains and anticipate the need for recurring schedule reporting, at both the milestone and discrete task levels, to support the cross-functional team, senior leadership, and the customer
- Comprehends the project lifecycle, process workflow, customer contract requirements, and their influence on resource requirements and the production schedule
- Facilitates clear communication throughout the cross-functional team to capture changes (status updates) that directly impact the production schedule
- Demonstrates a commanding ability to comprehend and evaluate the capabilities and constraints of available resources (manpower, footprint, equipment, material, etc) to effectively plan current and upcoming production efforts
- Facilitates schedule scenarios based on potential changes to available resources to evaluate and identify opportunities to improve the schedule based on organizational goals and changes in customer priorities
- Supports timely and accurate customer communication
- Coordinates with Project Management to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials timed to meet production requirement
- Advises management of the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed
- Performs load leveling for limited resources.
- Analyze schedule data and prepare variance reports.
- Identify strategies to mitigate unfavorable variances and identify opportunities to improve schedule performance.
- Provide input and/or conduct the plan of the day including providing the short-term production schedule to plan the daily shop operations.

- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and inputting and using an Enterprise Requirements Planning (ERP) system for planning and reporting.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Management, Industrial Management, Business Development, or a related field. 4 years of related exempt experience can be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a planning, scheduling in a manufacturing environment.
- Must be a US Citizen or equivalent.
