Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our private PPO only dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality dental care to patients while ensuring their comfort and safety. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. The Dentist will be responsible for diagnosing and treating oral health issues, as well as educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral health conditions.
- Perform a variety of dental procedures including fillings, extractions, root canals, and crowns.
- Utilize infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
- Fabricate dental appliances and prosthetics as needed, demonstrating proficiency in dental fabrication.
- Provide endodontic and prosthodontic treatments with precision and care.
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Educate patients on preventive care, treatment options, and the importance of maintaining good oral hygiene.
- Collaborate with assistants, and administrative staff to ensure efficient office operations.
Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license with no restrictions.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy related to dentistry and oral health.
- Experience in infection control practices within a dental office setting.
- Familiarity with electronic health records systems such as Epic is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and comfort.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks.
