GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
In this challenging role, you will be supporting the HOS - Housekeeping department at Greenville Technical College. Duties may include any or all of the following.
Perform routine custodial tasks as assigned by Building/Grounds Specialist III, Building/Grounds Supervisor I or II, or Building/Grounds Manager. These tasks include but are not limited to vacuuming college facilities, cleaning college facilities to include but not limited to restrooms, classrooms, labs, meeting rooms, building entrances, stairwells, and industrial shop areas.
Perform non routine custodial tasks as assigned by Building/Grounds Specialist III, Building/Grounds Supervisor I or II, or Building/Grounds manager. These tasks include but are not limited to using motorized aerial lifts, motorized forklifts, and backhoe to perform job duties as needed, cleaning outside windows, removing outside spider webs and wasp nests from building structures, pressure washing, and performing floor care projects.
Assist department supervisors in conducting building inspections to identify areas where project work is required.
Assist Supply Specialist II, as assigned, with supply deliveries and recycle pickup.
Assist Grounds Maintenance in tasks, as assigned. Tasks may include but are not limited to removal of litter and trash from college grounds, as well as use of motorized equipment such as back pack blower for removal of leaves and natural debris from building entrances.
Assist Building Maintenance in tasks, as assigned. Tasks may include but are not limited to filter replacement, bulb replacement, and other light maintenance tasks.
Perform other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Experience, on-the-job training, and/or demonstrated knowledge related to the area of employment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Prior experience performing commercial floor care work. At least one year of relevant experience. Valid state issued driver's license
