BrightStar Care of Cedar Rapids is looking for skilled, compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to deliver one-on-one in-home care to elderly clients and adults with disabilities throughout the Cedar Rapids metro area.

What You'll Do
Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will provide skilled personal care and assistance to clients in their homes:

Personal hygiene and activities of daily living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting

Vital signs monitoring and documentation

Safe transfers and mobility support
-
Catheter care, ostomy care, and skin integrity checks

Medication reminders and assistance
-
Meal preparation and nutritional monitoring
-
Dementia care, Alzheimer's care, and cognitive support
-
Post-surgical and post-hospitalization recovery care
-
Companion care and emotional support
-
Reporting health changes to supervising RN

Requirements

Active CNA certification on the Iowa Direct Care Worker Registry

Valid driver's license with reliable transportation and auto insurance

Must pass background check and drug screen

Experience in home care, nursing home, hospital, or assisted living preferred

Skilled in ADL assistance, vital signs, and patient documentation
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
