Position Overview
Seeking a 13-week Contract Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST) to join our team.
- Start Date: 08/10/2026
- Schedule: Day Shift, 5x8-Hour (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
- On-Call: Required (every 3rd weekend and 10–12 call shifts per month)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality surgical patient care.
- Prepare and maintain sterile instruments and equipment.
- Assist surgeons during a variety of surgical procedures.
- Support sterile processing and endoscopy services.
- Follow aseptic technique and infection control standards.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe patient care.
Requirements
- Active Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification.
- Minimum 1 year of Surgical Tech experience.
- Experience with Epic charting system.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
Certifications
- BLS Certification
- CST Certification
- CR-CST (Preferred)
Preferred Qualifications
- Community hospital experience.
- Experience in General Surgery, Orthopedics, OB/GYN, ENT, Endoscopy, and Sterile Processing.
- Knowledge of instrument processing, sterilization, endoscope reprocessing, and aseptic techniques.
- Experience with Epic EMR.
Pay: $1,750.00 - $2,200.00 per week
