Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise all restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and kitchen management, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning.
- Oversee staff training, development, and performance management to foster a high-performing team committed to excellence.
- Manage inventory control, food safety standards, and food handling procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations and minimize waste.
- Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reporting with accuracy and efficiency.
- Coordinate shift management, scheduling staff coverage during peak hours, and supervising team members to optimize productivity.
- Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing guest concerns promptly and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Implement budgeting strategies, monitor expenses, and control costs related to food production, labor, and supplies to maximize profitability.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in restaurant management with a strong background in food service management, supervising teams, and hospitality management.
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary experience, and kitchen management practices.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling expertise required.
- Demonstrated ability in inventory control, food safety protocols, and food handling procedures.
- Prior experience in quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments; fine dining or banquet experience is a plus.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train staff effectively and foster a positive team environment.
- Excellent communication skills with experience in interviewing, training & development, and staff supervision.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
