Overview:
We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Caregivers. As a Caregiver, you will provide essential assistance to elderly or disabled individuals, helping them with daily activities and providing emotional support.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks
- Monitor and record vital signs as needed
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals such as nurses and hospice care providers
- Support clients in maintaining their independence and quality of life
Skills:
- Experience in senior care or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of medical systems and procedures
- Familiarity with hospice care principles
- Ability to monitor and record vital signs accurately
- Understanding of assisted living facilities' operations
- Basic first aid knowledge
- Proficiency in meal preparation according to dietary restrictions
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with clients and their families
- Knowledge of social work principles for providing holistic care
