Shift -Days, Monday-Thursday, 36 hrs/week, 9hrs/Day
Overview
Join our dynamic healthcare team as an Operating Room Registered Nurse, where your expertise will directly impact patient outcomes during surgical procedures. In this vital role, you will provide specialized nursing care in the operating room environment, ensuring optimal patient safety, comfort, and preparedness for surgery.
Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms by ensuring all sterile supplies, equipment, and instruments are ready and functioning according to aseptic technique standards.
- Assist surgeons and surgical teams during procedures by anticipating needs, managing instrumentation, and maintaining a sterile field.
- Monitor patient vital signs and physiological responses continuously throughout surgeries, providing immediate intervention when necessary.
- Administer medications, including anesthesia agents and other perioperative drugs, following strict protocols and documentation requirements.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments pre- and post-operation, including physical examinations, vital signs, and medical history review.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation within EHR systems, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver seamless patient care across various specialties
Requirements
- Active Idaho or compact state RN license
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- At least 1 year of surgical experience
- Must be available to work on a routine basis scheduled call for emergency surgical services.

Pay: $65.00 per hour
