AS A TEMPORARY SEASONAL ELECTRO MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN
NATURE OF WORK:
This temporary seasonal position is intended to provide supplemental support for the safe operation, inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all aerial lift systems and attraction rides in accordance with policies, manufacturer specifications, ANSI standards, and applicable state and federal regulations. This position performs preventative, routine, and emergency maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical lift systems, including 480V three-phase systems, low-voltage safety circuits, and relay logic controls. The Lift Maintenance Mechanic supports daily lift operations, seasonal maintenance projects, while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, guest service, and operational reliability. Work is medium in nature with a significant degree of walking, standing, lifting and climbing. Work is performed under disagreeable conditions such as adverse weather, noise, crowds, and electricity, and requires close attention to prevent errors. Subject to shift work and irregular hours.
SUPERVISION:
Employee plans and arranges most of own work referring unusual cases to the supervisor.
- Minimum of two (2) years of lift maintenance, mechanical, electrical, industrial maintenance, or related experience required.

Experience with ski lift systems, detachable lift systems, or tramway maintenance preferred.

Strong mechanical aptitude with experience troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.

Working knowledge of 480V three-phase electrical systems, low-voltage safety systems, relay logic, motor controls, and hydraulic systems preferred.

Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, maintenance manuals, and technical documentation.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to safety.

Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure during lift stoppages or emergency situations.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.
This role is considered a safety-sensitive position for which impairment while working presents a substantial risk of death.
