About Us
We are an established general dental practice in Anaheim under new ownership. We're a small, collaborative team rebuilding the practice with updated technology and systems. We're looking for a hygienist who wants a stable, long-term schedule and real ownership of the hygiene department — not a fill-in seat.
What You'll Do
- Perform adult and pediatric prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, and periodontal maintenance
- Complete comprehensive periodontal charting and document findings in Dentrix
- Take and evaluate digital radiographs, including FMX, PAs, and bitewings
- Apply fluoride, sealants, and desensitizing agents as indicated
- Screen for oral pathology, caries, and occlusal issues, and communicate findings to the doctor
- Educate patients on home care and co-diagnose treatment alongside the doctor
- Manage your own recall column: keep it full, and help reactivate overdue patients
- Maintain instrument sterilization and operatory turnover per Cal/OSHA and Dental Board standards
What We're Looking For
- Active California RDH license in good standing
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Comfortable with digital sensors and ultrasonic scaling
- Confident presenting perio findings and gaining case acceptance
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Reliable, self-directed, and comfortable in a small-office setting
