VEMA is now hiring Direct Treatment Assistants (DTA) to join our growing team in our residential care facilities. We’re looking for team members who are ready to support adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities in a nurturing, supportive, and empowering environment.

Key Responsibilities of a DTA:
- Provide direct personal care: bathing, grooming, dressing
- Assist with meal prep, feeding, and administering medications
- Support daily living skills and promote independence
- Transport members to community outings, activities, and appointments
- Keep accurate documentation and reports
- Collaborate with team and communicate effectively
- Engage with members in recreational and therapeutic activities
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to obtain an Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Must be able to obtain CPR/First Aid, Article 9, and Prevention & Support certifications (training provided)
- Prior experience with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Strong communication skills and a passion for helping others
Total Care Experience?
That’s a plus! We’re especially interested in candidates who have experience with individuals requiring total care support.
