Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. Duties
- 3-11pm Shift.
- Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.
- Help clients with mobility and physical tasks, including lifting and transferring as necessary.
- Support individuals with disabilities in their home or assisted living environments.
- Monitor and report any changes in client health or behavior to appropriate personnel.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring hygiene standards are met.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote cognitive function and social interaction.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed.
Skills
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in assisted living settings is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of memory care techniques and patient care best practices.
- Proficiency in home care responsibilities, including cooking and assisting with household tasks.
- Strong caregiving skills with an emphasis on compassion and empathy.
- Ability to lift and assist clients safely while maintaining their dignity.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing needs of clients and work schedules.
