Enflor, a family owned business, is providing cannabis wellness to the East Elmhurst and Jackson Heights, NY communities. We are hiring a Budtender/Dispensary Associate.
As a Budtender at Enflor Dispensary, you are responsible for providing top notch customer service, education, and guidance to customers. This includes front-of-house customer service and order fulfillment responsibilities. Budtenders are the welcoming face of the dispensary! They help customers select product, answer questions, process transactions, and maintain a safe, clean, and compliant environment. You also support product fulfillment, ensuring that orders are accurately and efficiently prepared.
Qualifications
- Must have a passion for the plant!
- Cannabis industry (retail) experience is highly preferred
- Proficiency with Dutchie or similar Point of Sale system highly desired
- Integrity and a strong work ethic are a must!
- Friendly, approachable, and customer centered
- Experience working in a regulated, compliance driven industry a plus
- Ability to remain composed and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Must be able to add, subtract, and apply basic math skills when processing transactions/sales
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
- We are a retail establishment open 7 days a week, 10:00am to 10:00pm--for consideration, you must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds repeatedly
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome customers in a friendly manner
- Help customers select products; ask questions to determine individual needs, identify and recommend product options, explain their functions, properties, and safe use
- Accurately complete sales transactions and close register with ZERO discrepancies
- Verify customer ID and ensure compliance with age restrictions and purchasing limits in accordance with NY State regulations
- Uphold Enflor’s values of community, education, and responsible consumption
- Maintain a clean, organized, & secure sales floor, POS stations, and fulfillment area
- Ensure compliance and safety procedures are adhered to in order to maintain a safe environment for customers and staff
Working Conditions
- Retail dispensary environment with front-of-house and back-of-house responsibilities
- Adherence to dress code and personal appearance standards set by Enflor
Compensation
- Hourly wage: $18/hour + Tips
