About the Position
We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to join our Assisted Living team. The RN Supervisor will provide clinical leadership and oversight to ensure our residents receive safe, high-quality, person-centered care.
This position is ideal for an RN who enjoys leading a team, building relationships with residents and families, and making a meaningful difference in the lives of older adults.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical supervision and leadership to nursing and caregiving staff.
- Assess residents' health status and identify changes in condition.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
- Monitor medication administration and ensure medications are managed safely and appropriately.
- Coordinate physician appointments, treatments, therapies, and other healthcare services.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, pharmacies, and healthcare providers.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and changes in residents' conditions.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of clinical documentation and resident records.
- Monitor compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and applicable nursing standards.
- Participate in staff training, orientation, education, and performance management.
- Assist with staffing, scheduling, and maintaining appropriate clinical coverage.
- Conduct resident rounds and follow up on identified concerns.
- Promote infection prevention and control practices.
- Support quality improvement initiatives and maintain a culture of safety.
- Serve as a positive role model and resource for nursing and caregiving staff.
- Help create a respectful, supportive, and welcoming environment for residents and their families.
Qualifications
- Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Previous experience in Assisted Living, Long-Term Care, Skilled Nursing, Home Health, or a similar healthcare setting preferred.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently while effectively leading a team.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional approach to resident care.
- Must successfully complete all required background checks and employment requirements.

Pay: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour
