Position Overview
We are looking for a reliable, energetic, and detail-oriented Front of House (FOH) Team Member to handle all customer-facing duties. In this role, you will wear many hats—acting as the face of Jersey Bagel and the ultimate customer service champion.
Because breakfast is our busiest time, early morning shifts and weekend availability are strict requirements for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service & Cashiering: Greet every guest with a smile, take accurate orders at the register, handle cash and card transactions efficiently, and manage the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Bagel Duties: Craft high-quality coffee, Make Bagels with various flavors or cream cheese and our signature lox sandwiches , ensuring perfect presentation and taste every time.
- Order Fulfillment: Assemble and pack walk-in, call-in, and online orders accurately, ensuring everything from the bagels to our signature breakfast sandwiches are perfectly packed.
- Front of House Upkeep: Keep the counter, dining area, beverage station, and pastry cases clean, stocked, and inviting throughout the shift.
- Teamwork: Communicate effectively with the kitchen staff to ensure orders come out quickly and correctly.
What We’re Looking For
- Availability: Must be able to work early morning shifts and weekends (Saturdays and Sundays).
- Experience: Previous experience as a cashier, barista, or restaurant server is highly preferred, but we will train the right person with a great attitude!
- Speed & Accuracy: Ability to stay calm, organized, and friendly during our fast-paced morning rushes.
- Reliability: Punctuality is crucial—our customers need their morning coffee and bagels on time!
