Human Resources Site Lead
Location: Advantek LLC – Eau Claire, WI

Position Summary
The Human Resources Site Lead is responsible for leading all human resources functions at the site while partnering closely with plant leadership to build a high-performing, engaged workforce. This role provides both strategic guidance and day-to-day HR support in the areas of recruiting, employee relations, performance management, compensation, compliance, training, culture, and organizational development.
The HR Site Lead serves as a trusted advisor to managers and employees while helping ensure the company remains compliant, productive, and an employer of choice.
Essential Responsibilities
HR Leadership
- Lead all site Human Resources activities.
- Develop and execute HR initiatives aligned with business objectives.
- Partner with plant leadership on workforce planning and organizational development.
- Serve as a member of the site leadership team.
- Develop HR metrics and provide recommendations to leadership.
Talent Acquisition
- Manage the full recruitment process for hourly and salaried positions.
- Develop recruiting strategies to attract high-quality candidates.
- Build relationships with technical schools, colleges, and community organizations.
- Coordinate interviews and selection processes.
- Improve onboarding and new employee orientation programs.
Employee Relations
- Serve as the primary contact for employee concerns and workplace issues.
- Coach managers on employee performance, documentation, and corrective action.
- Conduct investigations as necessary.
- Promote positive employee engagement and communication.
- Help resolve conflict while maintaining consistency and fairness.
Performance Management
- Manage annual performance review processes.
- Coach leaders on employee development.
- Assist with succession planning.
- Identify high-potential employees and development opportunities.
Training & Development
- Coordinate employee training programs.
- Develop leadership training for supervisors and managers.
- Track required compliance training.
- Support career development initiatives.
Compensation & Benefits
- Administer compensation programs.
- Conduct wage benchmarking and market analysis.
- Support annual merit review processes.
- Assist employees with benefits questions.
- Coordinate open enrollment activities.
HR Compliance
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Maintain personnel records.
- Administer policies and procedures.
- Support OSHA and workplace safety initiatives from an HR perspective.
- Coordinate unemployment claims and employment verifications.
Employee Engagement & Culture
- Lead employee engagement initiatives.
- Coordinate recognition programs.
- Assist with employee events and wellness activities.
- Conduct engagement surveys and develop improvement plans.
- Foster a culture built on accountability, teamwork, respect, and continuous improvement.
HR Systems & Reporting
- Maintain HRIS data (such as UKG Pro).
- Generate HR reports and workforce metrics.
- Track turnover, absenteeism, recruiting metrics, and training completion.
- Maintain confidential employee records.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Equivalent HR experience may be considered.
Experience
- 3-5 years of progressive Human Resources experience.
- Experience supporting a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
- Previous experience leading HR functions at a site or business unit preferred.
- Experience with recruiting hourly manufacturing employees.
- Experience with employee investigations and conflict resolution.

- Experience with HRIS systems, preferably UKG Pro.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
