SCANPAN is looking for engaging and responsible individuals to conduct in-store training and demonstrations in key markets. Ideal candidates will be able to speak knowledgeably and intelligently about each of our product lines and will build lasting positive relationships with our retailers. Candidates should be outgoing, friendly, and excited to share product information and ideas with customers and retailers alike. This is a long-term 1099 independent contractor role.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain extensive knowledge about product lines and individual items in the SCANPAN cookware and Global cutlery ranges
- Educate retail store staff and customers about SCANPAN and Global brands to increase awareness and grow sales potential
- Demonstrate products in retail stores to highlight proper use, care, and benefits
- Foster strong relationships with store managers and employees
- Set up store visits with retailers that suit the store’s needs and schedule
- Work closely with National Training Manager to create local program that supports the Ambassador’s area and is consistent with brand standards
- Maintain store merchandising displays according to brand standards
- Promote product sales and GWP events when needed
- Maintain seasonal flexibility (for example, the retail season is always busiest around the holidays and slowest in late winter)
- Report key findings and feedback from store visits to Manager
- Submit weekly expense reports in a timely manner
Requirements:
- Self-motivated
- Organized with strong attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Flexible schedule, weekends are a must
- Must be able to travel to store locations
- Selling/customer service experience a plus
- Facilitation experience a plus
- Culinary background a plus
- Subject to criminal background check
Must be able to travel to Berkeley, CA and Stanford, CA weekly
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $27.50 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 10.0 per week
