A well-established electrical contracting firm based in Terre Haute, Indiana is seeking an Electrical Project Manager to lead commercial and industrial electrical projects across a regional service area. Projects are located within approximately 50 miles of Terre Haute, with no overnight travel required. The company offers a stable project pipeline across industrial, healthcare, commercial office, and education sectors.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, standard business hours. Hybrid work arrangements will be considered for candidates located more than 60 miles from Terre Haute, or a relocation package is available.
Compensation
$120,000 - $150,000 Per Year
What You'll Do
You will serve as the lead project manager for electrical construction projects across commercial and industrial market sectors, including industrial plants, healthcare facilities, commercial office buildings, and educational institutions. All projects fall within a roughly 50-mile radius of Terre Haute, keeping travel local with no overnight stays required.
Your core responsibilities will include managing contract parameters from award through closeout, developing and negotiating change orders, coordinating with field crews, and maintaining effective communication with general contractors and owners. You will be responsible for schedule adherence, budget performance, and quality oversight on each project.
You will ensure all work is executed in compliance with applicable electrical codes and project specifications, and you will coordinate with engineers, inspectors, and subcontractors as needed to keep projects on track.
Required Qualifications
- 5 or more years of experience managing electrical construction projects in commercial or industrial environments
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local and state electrical codes
- Demonstrated experience with contract management, change order development, and general contractor coordination
- Master Electrician license or equivalent combination of field and project management experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Indiana Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Electrical Engineering
- Experience across multiple market sectors including healthcare, industrial, and education
- Familiarity with preconstruction estimating and bid preparation
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
