Job Summary
Dive Boat and Yacht Cruise Captain
Candidates must have a valid 50GT Masters Captain License. Captains must have good customer service skills and the ability to maintain a safe working environment. Work hours must be flexible. Must be a certified scuba diver or have experience on dive boats. Captains must be able to pass a drug test.
Dive Master/Boat Crew
Must be at minimum Rescue diver certified. Must have good customer service skills and the ability to maintain a safe working environment. Work hours must be flexible. Must be able to pass a drug test.
Responsibilities
- Operate dive boats safely and efficiently, adhering to all maritime regulations and safety protocols
- Lead and oversee dive excursions, ensuring all participants follow safety procedures
- Manage boat maintenance, including rigging, mechanical checks, and basic troubleshooting
- Assist with loading and unloading diving equipment and gear
- Conduct pre-dive safety briefings and ensure all divers are properly equipped
- Uphold environmental standards by promoting responsible diving practices
