Independence Assistance is hiring Caregivers to provide in-home support to individuals in Madison County.
Our Caregivers help older adults and individuals with disabilities continue living safely and independently in their own homes. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others and wants work that makes a direct difference in another person's daily life.
Independence Assistance is a locally owned and operated Personal Service Agency that has provided in-home assistance to Kentucky families since 2012. Independence Assistance operates in 33 counties across the Commonwealth.
What You'll Be Doing
Caregivers provide individualized assistance based on each client's needs. Your responsibilities may include:
- Helping clients with bathing, dressing, grooming and other personal care
- Providing companionship and social interaction
- Preparing meals and assisting with everyday household tasks
- Completing light housekeeping and laundry
- Helping with grocery shopping and errands
- Providing transportation or escort assistance to appointments
- Providing medication reminders
- Supporting respite, companionship and memory-care needs
- Respecting and protecting client privacy and confidential information
- Completing required training
- Maintaining reliable and consistent attendance
