Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics on golf carts and small engine vehicles using advanced diagnostic tools and electrical testing equipment
- Conduct repairs on engines, brakes, suspensions, electrical systems, and mechanical components with precision and efficiency
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons, and assembly techniques to restore vehicles to optimal condition
- Troubleshoot basic vehicle issues such as engine performance problems, electrical faults, suspension concerns, and brake malfunctions
- Complete routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, tire replacements, battery checks, and system inspections
- Assist with heavy lifting of parts and components safely while adhering to safety protocols
- Document all repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities accurately in service records for tracking and quality assurance
Skills
- Proven dealership or service technician experience with small engines or powersports vehicles is highly preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive engine system repair and vehicle diagnostics
- Skilled in electrical diagnostics, soldering, welding, suspension work, brake repair, and general mechanical systems repair
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools used for automotive or small engine troubleshooting is essential
- Ability to operate motorcycles or all-terrain vehicles confidently for testing purposes
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients about repairs and maintenance needs
- Experience with heavy lifting and working with power tools in a fast-paced environment
- Basic vehicle troubleshooting skills combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving
