About LuxNeuro
LuxNeuro is a growing, collaborative practice specializing in counseling, qEEG brain mapping, neurofeedback, neuromodulation, and nervous-system-informed psychoeducation.
We work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD and trauma-related concerns, high-performer burnout, ADHD, autism and neurodivergence, OCD, sleep difficulties, emotional dysregulation, and cognitive or nervous-system challenges.
Our approach is individualized and clinically thoughtful. We help clients understand how their brain and nervous-system patterns may relate to their experiences and combine that understanding with counseling and brain-based interventions to support meaningful change.
Position Overview
LuxNeuro is seeking a Colorado LPCC or LPC for a part-time position combining traditional individual counseling with hands-on neurofeedback and nervous-system-informed psychoeducation.
The balance of counseling and neurofeedback will vary based on the clinician’s caseload and clinic needs. In addition to providing therapy, the clinician will receive paid training to apply electrodes, operate neurofeedback and neuromodulation equipment, monitor and document sessions, support qEEG brain mapping, and help clients understand the relationship between their nervous system and their day-to-day experiences.
Prior neurofeedback experience is not required.
The strongest candidate will be clinically thoughtful, warm, dependable, flexible, attentive to detail, comfortable learning technical systems, and interested in developing specialized skills within an integrated clinical model.
Schedule
The position will begin at approximately 15–16 paid hours per week, generally scheduled in four-hour shifts across approximately four weekdays.
The schedule will likely be weighted toward afternoons and early evenings, with some availability through approximately 6:30 p.m. preferred. Exact days and hours will be determined based on clinic coverage needs and the selected candidate’s availability.
There is room for the clinician’s caseload and hours to grow over time.
No weekends are currently required.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual counseling to assigned clients.
- Complete assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other required clinical documentation.
- Provide clear, grounded psychoeducation related to brain function, nervous-system regulation, emotions, and behavior.
- Collaborate with clients to establish goals and assess progress.
- Learn to apply and remove electrodes accurately and comfortably.
- Operate LuxNeuro’s neurofeedback and neuromodulation systems according to established protocols.
- Monitor client comfort, signal quality, session timing, and treatment response.
- Document and communicate relevant clinical and neurofeedback observations.
- Assist with qEEG brain-map preparation and recording as trained.
- Explain neurofeedback and treatment procedures in accessible language.
- Schedule and communicate with assigned clients as needed.
- Reset equipment and treatment spaces following sessions.
- Collaborate with the founder, clinic coordinator, and technician team regarding client progress and clinical questions.
- Maintain confidentiality, appropriate professional boundaries, and accurate records.
This is a hands-on hybrid role. Clinicians are expected to participate directly in the technical components of neurofeedback care rather than relying on a technician to complete every hookup or session responsibility. These expectations reflect the core client-care and technical functions of LuxNeuro’s neurofeedback model.
Required Qualifications
- Active Colorado LPCC or LPC credential in good standing.
- Master’s degree in counseling, clinical mental health, psychology, or a closely related field.
- Ability to practice within the scope of the candidate’s credential and supervision requirements.

- Dependability, punctuality, and consistent weekday availability.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to learn and follow multistep technical procedures.
- Timely and accurate clinical documentation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Flexibility and the ability to pivot when client or scheduling needs change.
- Ability to remain organized while managing multiple responsibilities.
- Ability to work independently while consulting appropriately.
- Openness to direct feedback, continued learning, and professional growth.
- Commitment to confidentiality and appropriate clinical boundaries.
Preferred Experience and Interests
- Experience treating anxiety, depression, PTSD, or trauma-related concerns.
- Experience with ADHD, autism and neurodivergence, OCD, sleep concerns, or emotional dysregulation.
- Experience working with adults; comfort working with adolescents is a plus.
- Experience integrating psychoeducation into counseling.
- Interest in neuroscience, neurophysiology, qEEG, neurofeedback, or nervous-system regulation.
- Comfort learning new technology, equipment, and clinical procedures.
Prior neurofeedback experience is welcome but not required.
