American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Dermatology Outpatient Clinic position requiring a valid CA RN license and at least 2 years of ambulatory/dermatology experience.

Outpatient dermatology clinic setting providing care for both common and complex skin conditions including acne, eczema, psoriasis, bullous disease, skin cancer, wound care, and hair disorders

Clinical scope includes general dermatology, MOHS surgery, dermatologic surgery, phototherapy, photodynamic therapy, laser surgery, tele-derm visits, and cosmetic dermatology

Sterile procedure setup and execution is a core component of the role

Day shift schedule: 5x8-hour shifts, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Charting performed in Cerner EMR
-
No blocked scheduling or self-scheduling
-
Active CA RN license required at time of consideration

Current BLS certification required
-
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required, with at least 1 year in an ambulatory/outpatient clinic setting

Dermatology specialty experience required within the past 2 years
-
Cerner EMR experience required
-
Experience with sterile procedures and sterile field setup required

Must pass a pass/fail EKG exam (up to 3 attempts)

At least one supervisory/director/manager reference from within the past year, from the relevant unit, is required

A second professional reference within the past 2 years (charge nurse, co-worker, or educator is acceptable)

Candidates who have previously been employed by this health system must be approved prior to starting the assignment

No RTO (requested time off) permitted within the first 2 weeks of the assignment; all RTO requests must be submitted at the time of consideration and cannot be changed after submission
