Senior Network Engineer position just opened up with our DoD/DHA client. In this role you will serve as the regional network engineering lead for Pacific operations, ensuring resilient, secure, and mission-aligned network infrastructure across DHA facilities in the Pacific theater.
You must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related and an active Secret Clearance. CCNP and CISSP Certifications are also required.
Location: Hawaii or Alaska
Position: Senior Network Engineer (Secret Clearance)
Compensation: $135,000 to $165,000/year depending on experience
Duration: 5 year contract
Schedule: Remote; Travel required as needed to designated hospitals

Overview:
Serves as the regional network engineering lead for Pacific operations, ensuring resilient, secure, and mission-aligned network infrastructure across DHA facilities in the Pacific theater.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as regional network POC for Pacific operations
- Lead troubleshooting of complex network issues across all OSI layers
- Design, deploy, and manage LAN/WLAN/WAN infrastructure
- Utilize SolarWinds, ARMIS, Ansible for monitoring and automation
- Maintain network security controls (firewalls, VPNs, IDS)
- Develop and enforce compliance with DoD, DHA, and Pacific Command standards
- Provide recommendations for network optimization and modernization
- Coordinate with stakeholders and NetMOD standards teams
Required Qualifications
- IAM Level III (DoD 8570 compliant)
Experience Requirements
- Same technical depth as CONUS role, including:
- Routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, etc.)
- Network infrastructure and communications technologies
- DoD enterprise network environments
Education
- Bachelor’s degree + 5 years’ experience or Technical/Vocational + 10 years’ experience
Certifications & Skills
- Required: CCNP, CISSP
- Desired: Zero Trust Architecture
- Tools: Cisco, SolarWinds, Windows networking
Clearance & Communication
- SECRET clearance required
- Strong communication with government, medical, and technical stakeholders
