A growing organization is seeking a Field Safety & Compliance Program Coordinator to lead safety initiatives across multiple service locations. This is a hands-on role for someone who is passionate about workplace safety, OSHA compliance, and building a strong safety culture within field operations.
Reporting to the Director of Service Operations with guidance from Regional EHS leadership, this individual will own safety programs from development through execution while partnering closely with operations, warehouse, and field service teams. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable working both in the office and at customer jobsites.
Responsibilities
- Lead and continuously improve company-wide safety and compliance programs across multiple locations.
- Conduct routine OSHA and safety audits, inspections, and jobsite evaluations.
- Investigate workplace incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Develop, coordinate, and facilitate employee safety training programs.
- Manage safety documentation, compliance records, and customer prequalification portals.
- Ensure OSHA regulations, company policies, and customer safety requirements are consistently met.
- Maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and hazardous chemical compliance.
- Track safety metrics, maintain reporting, and present findings to leadership.
- Lead monthly safety meetings and partner with operational leaders to improve safety performance.
- Travel to local service locations and customer jobsites to perform inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
- Foster a proactive safety culture focused on accountability, employee engagement, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), Safety, Compliance, Field Service, Construction Safety, Industrial Safety, Manufacturing Safety, or Operations.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, inspections, audits, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
- Experience developing or administering safety programs and employee training.
- Experience maintaining compliance documentation and safety records.
- Strong organizational, communication, and project coordination skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital documentation systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Engineering, Environmental Health & Safety, or a related field is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
- Experience with Avetta, ISNetworld, Veriforce, or similar contractor compliance platforms
- Experience supporting field service, HVAC, mechanical, industrial, construction, manufacturing, or service operations environments
