SEEKING ASSISTANT AND LEAD TEACHERS:
The Goddard School in Novi at M5 and 13 mile is a early childhood center seeking experienced teachers who have a love for children, passion for education and excellent verbal and written communication skills. We are part of a larger franchise system which has been around for more than 30 years and has over 600 franchised schools throughout the United States. We are looking for a team of professionals to help provide a nurturing and academically rich environment to our area families.
Qualifications:
-High School Diploma/GED (Assistant teachers)
-CDA, Degree in ECE or child related field (must meet state regulations for LEAD teachers)
-Meet comprehensive background check and fingerprinting
-CPR/First aid certified (preferred)
-Prior classroom/childcare experience preferred.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
-Ability to develop lesson plans based on provided curriculum following Goddard philosophies.
-Demonstrate competence of child development and ability to implement and strengthen physical, academic and social-emotional skills.
-Maintain appropriate ratios, safety and cleanliness that adheres to quality assurance and licensing standards.
-Maintain accurate as well as timely educational assessments progress portfolios for all students assigned.
-Develops relationships and communicates effectively with children, parents, and faculty members.
-Self motivated and productive following the Goddard School’s procedures and policies.
-Dependable and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
-Works well in a team setting
