Intelligen-Ashlor Staffing is currently seeking experienced individuals to join our team as Plant Managers in the manufacturing area. Reporting to the production crew leader, this pivotal role will oversee various activities to ensure smooth operations and maximize efficiency. Responsibilities:
- Role: As a plant worker you will lead the production team during the 1st Shift (6 AM to 6 PM), guiding them in performing general housekeeping, maintenance duties, and other assigned tasks.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety guidelines, environmental standards, and operating procedures, reporting any safety concerns promptly to the Production Crew Leader.
- Equipment Optimization: Monitor plant equipment for optimal efficiency, promptly addressing any potential malfunctions or breakdowns to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
- Team Coordination: Effectively communicate with plant personnel on a daily basis, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate within a team environment.
- Task Management: Manage moderate to heavy workloads on a periodic basis, multitasking effectively and independently while adhering to company policies and procedures.
Manager Qualifications:
- Heavy Lifting Ability: Must be capable of lifting heavy loads and communicating effectively with co-workers, ensuring tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
- Self-Starter: Demonstrate initiative and self-motivation in executing assigned duties, exhibiting leadership qualities to drive performance and achieve objectives.
- Dependability: Must reliably work assigned hours and follow company policies and procedures, maintaining consistency and reliability in performance.
- Multi-Tasking Skills: Proven ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment, efficiently managing competing demands to meet production goals.
- Experience: Previous experience in a plant managerial role within a manufacturing environment is essential, showcasing your ability to lead teams and oversee operations effectively.
