Schedule Details/Additional Information:
- Flexible weekday schedule: 5x 8-hour shifts or 4x 10-hour shifts (prefer 0600 start time)
Where You Will Work:
- 29 bed Emergency Department with additional 11 beds available
- 313 bed Level 1 Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center
What You Will Do
- Drive Clinical Excellence: Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards, promote evidence-based practice, lead quality improvement initiatives, and monitor clinical performance outcomes.
- Lead Staff Development: Support onboarding, competency validation, continuing education, certification attainment, and professional growth through coaching and mentorship.
- Enhance Patient Experience: Promote exceptional patient and family interactions, conduct patient rounding, lead service recovery efforts, and improve patient satisfaction outcomes.
- Foster Associate Engagement: Supervise, coach, evaluate, recognize, and retain staff while encouraging participation in shared governance and unit decision-making.
- Oversee Clinical Operations: Ensure safe, high-quality patient care, coordinate staffing and scheduling, support interdisciplinary collaboration, and serve as a clinical resource when needed.
- Strengthen Provider Partnerships: Build positive relationships with physicians and APPs, address concerns proactively, and support collaboration between providers and ED staff.
- Support Financial & Operational Performance: Monitor productivity, optimize resource utilization, maintain equipment and supply readiness, and promote cost-effective operations while maintaining exceptional customer service.
What We Are Looking For
- Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BSN
- 1 year leadership experience
- 3 years relevant clinical experience
