Pediatric Occupational Therapist or OTA
Job Summary:
Homeside Rehab, a premier home health care provider, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Occupational Therapist or Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our pediatric home health team. As a Pediatric Occupational Therapist or OTA, you will play a vital role in helping children reach their full potential by delivering individualized, evidence-based therapy in their own homes.
Job Responsibilities:
Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessment and patient goals
Provide evidence-based OT interventions to improve motor skills, functional independence, and developmental outcomes
Maintain accurate, timely documentation of all patient care in accordance with regulatory requirements
Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure coordinated and effective treatment
Communicate clearly with office staff, patients, and caregivers regarding progress and care plans
Job Qualifications:
Active NYS Occupational Therapy License (OT or COTA) required
Basic computer proficiency for electronic documentation
Preferred: 1 year of experience in Home Health, Outpatient, or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) settings
Strong clinical assessment and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work independently in a home health environment
Valid NYS driver's license and reliable transportation for home visits
Pediatric experience is preferred

Job Type: Part-time
Location: Queens, New York
Salary: $65 - $80 HOURLY (negotiable based on experience)
Schedule Flexibility: Choose your own hours, day and evening shifts available, Monday to Friday, with weekend availability as needed
