First Class Maintenance operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, mobile equipment and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions. Ability to operate multiple types of heavy equipment to assist in repairs.

High school Diploma and GED Required.

Must possess a valid NJ driver's license.

Pass a mechanical basic skills test.

High level of safety and quality.

Ability to troubleshoot all plant equipment without supervision.

Train other mechanics on skills needed to progress to Repairman First Class.

Ability to fabricate from drawings or replacement of existing equipment.

Ability to multi-task at a fast-pace (at times), work in outside conditions during all seasons, climb multi-levels by stairs & ladders, work from elevated platforms, use hand tools (shovel, hammer, wrenches, etc.)
