Responsibilities
- Operate commercial-grade dryers, washers and dryers
- Perform laundry washing, fabric care, bleach washing, stain removal (including baking soda, hot water, cold water, and stain removal) to ensure garments meet quality standards.
- Label garments accurately for proper identification and tracking throughout the cleaning process.
- Fold laundry with precision using manual techniques to prepare items for delivery or storage.
- Maintain inventory tracking of laundry supplies, chemicals (including bleach) to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist with cashiering duties and provide friendly customer service by addressing guest inquiries professionally.
- Push carts for efficient transport of laundry loads within the facility.
- Keep the workspace clean, organized, and safe by adhering to machine operation safety procedures and maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Requirements
- Prior experience in laundry or hotel environment preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Knowledge of fabric care techniques including stain removal methods such as baking soda, hot water, cold water, and mechanical stain removal.
- Ability to operate laundry machinery .
- Familiarity with inventory management practices related to laundry supplies and chemicals.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control in garment cleaning and finishing processes.
- Excellent organizational skills to maintain an orderly workspace and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift loads safely, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in customer service or cashiering is a plus but not mandatory; a positive attitude is essential!
