Job Summary
The Construction Administrator supports the Construction Department by coordinating project documentation, tracking labor and equipment costs, processing invoices, maintaining compliance records, coordinating travel, and assisting with payroll and accounting functions.
Responsibilities
* Track project labor, equipment and job costs.
* Process, code, scan, and submit vendor invoices for approval.
* Maintain equipment tracking reports, rental logs, and coordinate weekly equipment meetings.
* Communicate with equipment vendors regarding rentals, billing, and off-rent requests.
* Maintain safety and compliance records (ISNetworld, Avetta, Browz, Veriforce, Safety First) and assist with audits.
* Assign and track employee training through Lezage and maintain training records.
* Track and submit weekly per diem reports to Accounting.
* Reconcile company credit card expenses, assign GL codes, and match receipts.
* Scan and organize payroll, invoices, receipts, and project documentation.
* Coordinate employee travel, including flights, hotels, and rental vehicles.
Qualifications
* High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred.
* 2+ years of administrative experience in construction, operations, accounting, payroll, or project administration preferred.
* Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
* Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
* Experience with payroll, invoice processing, expense reconciliation, compliance platforms, and construction operations preferred.
