Sales Associate – Brookside Jewelry
Brookside Jewelry is seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team. We are looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, providing exceptional customer service, and helping customers celebrate life's special moments through jewelry.
Position Details
- Part-time position
- Approximately 3 days per week
- Wednesdays are required
- Some Saturdays are required
- Hourly pay
- Retail and/or jewelry sales experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide a welcoming, personalized shopping experience
- Assist customers with jewelry purchases, repairs, custom jewelry inquiries, and gift selection
- Build relationships with customers and provide excellent follow-up service
- Process sales transactions accurately
- Answer phone calls and assist customers with questions and appointments
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional showroom
- Assist with merchandising, displays, and inventory-related tasks
- Support other store operations as needed
Qualifications
- Previous retail sales experience preferred
- Jewelry sales experience is a plus but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude
- Ability to multitask and work independently
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Comfortable learning about jewelry, gemstones, and custom design services
- Basic computer and point-of-sale system experience preferred
