Position Overview:
Elite Coastal Landscaping is seeking an experienced and dependable Irrigation Technician to join our team. This is a hands-on role for someone who can handle irrigation installation and repair projects from start to finish, ensuring reliable water systems for our clients. Key Responsibilities:
- Install new irrigation systems, including trenching, laying pipe, setting heads, and connecting to water sources
- Diagnose and repair existing irrigation system malfunctions, including leaks, coverage issues, and control panel problems
- Program and troubleshoot irrigation controllers and smart systems
- Perform necessary system blowouts and winterization procedures
- Operate company truck and related equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and materials used
- Communicate clearly with crew leaders regarding job status and material needs
- Adhere to all safety protocols on job sites
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of direct experience in irrigation installation and repair required
- Proven ability to install and troubleshoot complete irrigation systems from start to finish
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of backflow prevention, pipe sizing, and sprinkler head selection
Compensation and Benefits:
Pay: $18–$25 per hour (depending on experience)
Benefits available after 90 days, including insurance options
