Position Summary
Celebrating Life Community Health Center is seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to support our dental providers in delivering exceptional patient care. This role assists with chairside procedures, radiography, infection control, patient support, and maintaining a safe, efficient clinical environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during a variety of general dental procedures.
- Prepare operatories, patients, instruments, and materials for treatment.
- Take and develop dental radiographs in accordance with California regulations.
- Clean, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments and equipment while following infection control and safety protocols.
- Monitor, stock, and organize dental supplies and operatories.
- Support patients by answering questions, providing instructions, and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Complete clinical documentation, manage patient charts, and assist with basic administrative tasks as needed.
- Collaborate with the dental team and perform other duties that support patient care and clinic operations.
Qualifications
- Current California Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) License (Required)
- Current BLS/CPR Certification (Required)
- High school diploma or GED required; accredited Dental Assisting program preferred.
- Previous dental assisting experience preferred.
- Experience with Dentrix and/or Allscripts is a plus.
- Bilingual (Spanish, Farsi, Russian) preferred but not required.
Schedule
- Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Thursday: 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM
- Occasional Saturdays: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Pay: $28.50 - $30.00 per hour
