Job Summary
Responsible for delivering exceptional guest service while educating guests about craft beer and preparing high-quality beverages. Bar standards are consistently upheld, supports and holds bar backs and servers accountable for their responsibilities, and maintains accurate cash handling procedures.
Bartenders oversee opening and closing duties, including securing the premises and completing end-of-shift safe counts. This position may also include issuing payments to karaoke hosts and live musicians and accurately recording those payments during the safe count process.

Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and courteously
- Provide draft, bottle, and food menus
- Offer knowledgeable beer and beverage recommendations
- Suggest alternatives for unavailable items
- Prepare and serve beer, cocktails, and other beverages according to established standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Engage guests in friendly, professional conversation
- Count cash drawer at the beginning of each shift to verify accuracy
- Maintain control and accountability of assigned cash drawer throughout the shift
- Cash out servers at the end of the shift as required
- Complete opening and closing procedures, including locking doors and finalizing safe counts
- Promote teamwork and maintain positive morale behind the bar
