As a Production Foam Pumpkin Carving Artist, you will support the creation of visually impactful props used throughout our attractions. This role is ideal for individuals with artistic skill and strong attention to detail who thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on production environment.
Artistry & Production Execution

Carve faces, patterns, lettering, and custom designs into foam pumpkins for use in seasonal displays and attractions.

Execute designs ranging from simple templates to detailed, custom artwork while maintaining consistency and quality.

Follow reference images, templates, and production instructions to accurately reproduce designs.
Tools, Safety & Workflow

Safely operate hand tools and carving equipment, including hot knives, rotary tools, and Dremels.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in accordance with production standards.

Manage multiple pieces simultaneously while meeting daily production goals and deadlines.
Team Collaboration & Communication

Communicate effectively with production leads regarding progress, materials, and support needs.

Collaborate with team members to ensure efficiency and consistency across production output.

Assist with additional fabrication or finishing tasks as assigned.

Background in art, fabrication, or hands-on creative work.

Comfort using hand tools or carving equipment; experience with hot knives or rotary tools preferred.

Ability to follow instructions and accurately replicate designs.

Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.

Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume production environment without sacrificing quality.

Reliable, punctual, and able to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced shop or production setting.

Experience in carving, sculpting, prop-making, scenic fabrication, or woodworking is a plus but not required.

Must be 18 years of age or older.

Hourly Rate: $18.00–$22.00 per hour (based on experience and artistic ability)

This is a seasonal/temporary position with an anticipated end date. Employment beyond the stated season is not guaranteed.
Pursuant to California SB 1162, the hourly pay range for this position is listed above. Thirteenth Floor Entertainment Group will not request or consider salary history in making compensation decisions.
