Overview
The Project Coordinator assists with the planning and coordinating of activities for designated project to ensure that goals and/or
objectives of project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters. This individual assists in reviewing the project proposal and
plan to determine duration, budget, material requirements and necessary delivery dates, staffing requirements. This individual will be responsible for
purchasing subcontract administration, requests for information change-order development, billing, and other duties, as the project may require.
Must learn and understand all safety hazards related to the work and learn to safely and effectively use or operate within heavy industrial environments. Will
be required to work in a plant operations or construction jobsite setting.
Responsibilities

Extensive experience in word processing, spreadsheet development, and overall computer proficiency is essential

3-5 years experience in the heavy-industrial market inclusive of piping systems, structural steel, and industrial process equipment is required.

Primavera P6 knowledge essential for updating and maintaining construction schedule.

Ability to read and interpret drawings related to and including piping isometrics, structural steel, and process equipment.

Problem solving skills essential for identifying/solving on-site construction issues.
Qualifications

Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in a construction related field or experience in the industrial construction industry and have an understanding of the craft work being performed.

Must be proficient with Excel and other Microsoft Computer Programs.

Must have the ability to communicate effectively with management/ supervision.

Reading, writing and hearing comprehension is necessary for giving and receiving directions to perform work and/or safety policy.

Must have knowledge of safety rules and regulations and learn client and company policy.
Physical: While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee may be required to:

Remain in a stationary position (sitting or standing) for extended periods during office work and meetings.

Move periodically across office settings, client venues, and active project or site locations.

Operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment.

Frequently communicate and exchange accurate information in person, electronically, and during virtual or telephone meetings.

Lift or move materials weighing up to 25 pounds occasionally.
