Brookgreen Gardens is seeking a Horticulturist to help maintain the exceptional quality and beauty of our gardens. This hands-on role is ideal for a plant professional who enjoys working outdoors and contributing to a mission-driven nonprofit.

What You’ll Do
- Maintain designated garden areas to high horticultural standards
- Prepare beds and install woody and herbaceous plants, perennials, annuals, and bulbs
- Prune, propagate, transplant, fertilize, and apply IPM practices
- Support seasonal displays, special events, and garden projects
- Use current horticultural techniques and best practices
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture or related field
- Strong plant knowledge and landscape maintenance experience
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Valid South Carolina driver’s license
