We're looking for a reliable Service Dispatcher to act as a communication point for our service department's calls. You will receive requests, transmit messages and track vehicles. The ideal candidate must be able to multitask as well as take appropriate action with little supervision.
Work hours:
7:30am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday
Responsibilities Include:
· Receive customer calls and record significant information.
· Take incoming calls from customers and Service Technicians.
· Prioritize calls according to urgency and importance
· Schedule and coordinate service calls as calls are received.
· Create dispatch tickets for all service calls.
· Contact Service Technicians and assign them service calls.
· Respond to emails and voice messages left overnight.
· Maintain the dispatch schedule.
· Forecast workload for 2 – 3 days out
· Assist in maintaining maintenance agreements, including billing, scheduling and renewals.
· Help Service Manager with marketing issues as directed.
· Monitor the route and status of field units to coordinate and prioritize their schedule
· Update customer database files as information is received from installation. (warranties, equipment info, new customers, Birthday tickler file, etc.)
· Maintain customer history files in database
· Other possible duties as assigned.
· Provide field units with information about orders, traffic, obstacles and requirements
Requirements:
· Proven experience as dispatcher or relevant similar position.
· Tech-savvy with knowledge of how to use computers proficiently.
· Fast typing with experience in data entry.
· Proficient in oral and written English (Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus).
· Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities
· Active listener with excellent communication skills
· Sound judgment and critical thinking
· High school diploma
Pay: $22.00 per hour
