Job Title: Specialty Coffee Shop Barista
Multiple positions (Both Full-Time and Part-Time) for day and afternoon shifts.
Position Overview: We are seeking to hire experienced, hard-working, self-motivated, and high-energy individuals to join our staff as a Barista/Karak Chai Maker.
Job Responsibilities Include but not limited to:
· Espresso Beverage Crafting: Expertly prepare and serve high-quality espresso-based beverages, ensuring consistency and adherence to our established standards. Latte and Cappuccino Creation: Skillfully steam and froth milk to create perfectly textured lattes and cappuccinos, meeting customer preferences for taste and presentation.
· Karak Chai Preparation: Learn and master the art of making chai, following our recipe and ensuring a consistent and flavorful product.
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, espresso drinks, and tea
- Take customer orders and process payments using a cash register or point-of-sale (POS) system
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and making recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee shop, including the counter, seating area, and restrooms
- Follow health and safety guidelines for food handling and preparation
- Assist with food preparation such as pastries
- Operate equipment such as coffee grinders, espresso machines, and blenders
- Restock supplies as needed throughout the shift
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations

- Previous experience in a similar role is required; training will be provided for karak chai
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and familiarity with different types of coffee beans is a plus
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating change
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
