What You'll Do
- Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled services on medium- and heavy-duty diesel trucks.
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brake systems, suspension, steering, electrical, and hydraulic components.
- Utilize diagnostic software and specialized tools to troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently.
- Complete DOT inspections and ensure all repairs meet safety and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate repair orders and service documentation.
- Work collaboratively with fellow technicians and management to maximize fleet uptime.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
What We're Looking For
- Previous diesel mechanic or diesel technician experience required.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with preventative maintenance and major component repairs.
- Knowledge of Cummins, Detroit Diesel, Paccar, Caterpillar, International, Volvo, or similar diesel platforms.
- Valid driver's license required; CDL is a plus.
- Own tools preferred (tool allowance available if applicable).
- Strong work ethic with a commitment to quality and safety.
