Job Overview
ORCA Pools is seeking a dependable and hardworking Pool Service Technician to provide professional weekly pool maintenance for residential customers. The ideal candidate is organized, punctual, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently while maintaining ORCA Pools’ standards for quality, reliability, and customer service.
The Pool Service Technician will be responsible for servicing an assigned route, maintaining proper water chemistry, cleaning pools and spas, inspecting equipment, and reporting any repair or safety concerns. Previous pool service experience is preferred, but training may be available for the right candidate who demonstrates a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Primary Responsibilities
- Skim pool surfaces and remove debris
- Brush pool walls, steps, benches, and tile lines
- Vacuum pools thoroughly
- Empty skimmer, pump, and cleaner baskets
- Test and balance chlorine, pH, alkalinity, conditioner, salt, and other water-chemistry levels
- Add chemicals safely and according to company procedures
- Inspect pumps, filters, heaters, salt systems, valves, cleaners, and other equipment
- Identify and report leaks, equipment problems, algae, and water-quality concerns
- Perform routine filter and salt-cell cleanings when assigned
- Maintain accurate service records and provide completion updates
- Keep the company vehicle, tools, and equipment clean and organized
- Communicate professionally with customers and management
- Follow all chemical-handling, driving, and workplace-safety procedures
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Reliable transportation to the assigned starting location
- Ability to work outdoors in hot weather
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable handling pool chemicals and operating service equipment
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
- Dependable attendance and ability to work independently
- Professional appearance and respectful customer communication
- Pool service experience is preferred but not required

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
