We're looking for a dependable, people-first team member to join both sides of our operation. This is a cross-trained, "wear both hats" role: you'll start on the gaming floor at Lucky's Little Vegas, then train into our retail side at Lifted Co (liquor, tobacco, vapes, CBD, kratom, and accessories). Once you're up to speed, you'll bounce between both sides depending on where we need you.
The ideal person is versatile, reliable, comfortable handling cash, and enjoys talking to people. Both sides move at a fast pace, so strong communication and dependability are key.
What you'll do
Gaming side (Lucky's Little Vegas):
- Welcome and assist guests on the gaming floor
- Handle payouts, redemptions, and the cash drawer accurately
- Keep the gaming area clean, comfortable, and well-maintained
- Verify IDs and enforce 21+ entry and all Illinois Gaming Board rules
Retail side (Lifted Co):
- Help customers choose products across liquor, tobacco, vape, CBD, and kratom
- Operate the point-of-sale system and process transactions accurately
- Card every age-restricted sale, no exceptions
- Stock, face, and keep the sales floor clean and organized
Both sides:
- Deliver a friendly, helpful experience to every guest and customer
- Follow all store and gaming policies, procedures, and compliance guidelines
- Stay productive and flexible — move between gaming and retail as needed
What we're looking for
- Must be 21 or older (required for gaming, alcohol, and tobacco)
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Comfortable handling cash and processing payouts and transactions
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Able to work independently and stay busy during slower periods
- Willing and able to cross-train and float between both sides
- Retail, gaming, cash-handling, or customer service experience is a plus, but not required
