Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager, also known as an Executive Housekeeper, to lead and elevate our cleaning and sanitation operations. This pivotal role involves overseeing the daily management of housekeeping staff, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and customer satisfaction. As a key leader within our hospitality or commercial environment, you will drive team performance, implement sanitation protocols, and maintain exceptional service quality to create a welcoming and hygienic environment for all guests and clients.
Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and motivate housekeeping staff to deliver outstanding cleaning and custodial services across all areas.
- Develop and enforce cleaning schedules, sanitation procedures, and safety regulations aligned with industry standards.
- Oversee industrial cleaning processes, including deep cleans and specialized sanitation tasks to meet health standards.
- Manage team supervision activities such as training, performance evaluations, and staffing assignments to ensure optimal coverage.
- Implement management of laundry operations, ensuring timely and efficient processing of linens and uniforms.
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations while fostering a culture of safety awareness among staff.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure customer service excellence and address any cleanliness or maintenance concerns promptly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in custodial services, commercial cleaning, or hospitality housekeeping management with supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation practices, safety regulations, and industrial cleaning procedures.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Excellent managerial communication skills to train staff, coordinate tasks, and resolve issues efficiently.
- Experience in managing janitorial operations, laundry services, and custodial workflows within a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to uphold safety protocols diligently while ensuring compliance with health regulations.
- Prior supervisory experience in hospitality or commercial settings is highly desirable.
